So I started the Peninsula Pop Up Wedding Co., which has now become the Pop Up Wedding Collective back in 2016, when I realized that there was a lot of couples out there who were being served by the traditional wedding market.

So the average cost in Australia in 2019, has climbed to $54,000. And I realized that there are a lot of couples out there who already had kids who were engaged who just couldn’t justify spending the equivalent of a house deposit or a new kitchen or their kids education on a wedding. But that didn’t mean that they wanted a cheap wedding either. 

So the Pop Up Wedding Collective is all about giving couples luxe, affordable, premium wedding experiences, but without the premium price tag. So you don’t have to start your word married life with a financial hangover. 

So we also save you hundreds of hours of time. And then we save you from making a whole lot of decisions, although we do include you in the ones that are important, like what to eat and who to take photos of and things like that. So the way a pop up wedding works is we effectively employ a series of different mechanisms behind the scenes to ensure that you get an amazing all inclusive wedding package that includes all of the essentials, everything that’s important, but nothing that isn’t.
